SimpleReads fits naturally into classrooms. It helps students read intentionally, stay focused, and take better notes — without adding friction for teachers or IT teams.

Sign in to Chrome with Gmail

Open Google Chrome and make sure you are signed in using your Gmail account. This allows Chrome extensions like SimpleReads to install properly and sync your reading sessions.

Install the SimpleReads Extension

Visit the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Confirm by selecting Add Extension to install SimpleReads in seconds.

Pin SimpleReads to Your Toolbar

Click the puzzle‑piece icon in Chrome and pin SimpleReads so it’s always accessible while you read.

Open Any Website

Go to an article, textbook chapter, research paper, or study guide — SimpleReads works on nearly any reading‑based site.

Activate Focus Mode

Click the SimpleReads icon to blur distractions, zoom text, and keep only the most important paragraphs in focus.

Take Notes in the Side Notepad

Use the built‑in notepad on the side of the page to write notes, definitions, and summaries without switching tabs.

Save & Continue Studying

When finished, save your session. Notes stay linked to the source so you can continue researching across multiple websites.
